Our goal is to have everyone leave their appointment feeling confident in their oral health, and to make each and every visit a pleasant one! We know that visiting the dentist can be stressful, so your comfort will always be our biggest priority-as well as your teeth, of course!

We are always looking for ways to improve our services, so if you ever have any questions, concerns or recommendations, feel free to inform any one of our team members, and the matter will be looked into promptly. Whether she’s getting you ready for your very first appointment or welcoming you into your hundredth, Janice will always be there to lend a hand and make you smile. Born and raised in Pembroke, she has trained as a chairside assistant (she knows her stuff!) and graduated from Career Canada in 1995 with a focus in administration. Many of our patients remember Janice from when she worked at Conroy back in 2008! She describes her work as “very rewarding”, though we think her excellent communication with patients deserves an award in itself. As an insurance whiz and effectual treatment coordinator, she’s getting you the care you need with the least amount of stress. Janice is a self-taught painter of nature, which unsurprisingly, she loves to be out in, especially if she’s with her adorable grandkids!

It’s important that your experience at the dentist is smooth sailing, and Kathy keeps the water calm! She brings with her 15 years of admin experience, and a natural talent for service and organization. After growing up in Brighton Ontario, she attended Loyalist College in Belleville for business and accounting, resulting in her numeracy and tech-savviness! The only thing she loves more than connecting with people is her colour-coded schedule, and making sure your appointment is right on time. You can often find Kathy walking her Great Dane, and eating spicy food. No like, really spicy food. Her goal? To finally master the WaterPik! We believe in you Kath!

If you’re seeking a polished, poised, and positively proficient person to do your cleanings, look no further than Hannah! Originally from Toronto, Hannah moved to Ottawa to attend Ottawa University, as well as receive her diploma from the Canadian National Institute of Health. She prides herself on providing the right educational tools to maintain her patient’s best oral health, and seeks out proactive and preventative solutions that are easy to implement everyday at home. She is fluent in french, and is famously quick-thinking! When she’s not chasing after her toddler, Hannah unwinds by snowboarding, swimming, or spending time at her cottage.

A graduate from Algonquin College for Dental Hygiene, Conroy was lucky to have Sara join the team in 2020. She enjoys building positive relationships with patients while providing safe and consistent preventative care. Sara grew up in Saudi Arabia and has always had a passion for the dental field. Her light heartedness and perky personality brings a joyous atmosphere to the clinic, and is sure to relax any patient in her chair. She enjoys watching smiles transform and provides the highest quality treatment with a gentle, kind and compassionate approach. In her downtime, Sara loves to spend time outdoors-hiking, swimming, and traveling as much as she can.

Galyna

Galyna has worked as a dentist for 30 years in Ukraine, and has been a welcome addition to the office as a dental assistant. Her warm and caring demeanour always cheers up our staff, and reassures our patients before their appointment begins. During treatment, she is attentive, knowledgeable and ensures that the dentists can do their best work. She has two sons, one with a dental practice of his own, and three wonderful grandkids. Her excellent cooking and baking skills are well-known amongst her family, as well as her very grateful coworkers!

It is often said that a DENTIST is a finely balanced combination of a Doctor, an ENgineer and an arTIST, and if you’ve ever seen Dr. Caris work, you would know that this is true.

Having grown up in Ottawa, Dr. Caris completed her dental degree at the University of Western Ontario, and was eager to continue developing her passion for dentistry in her home town. She has been working with the incredible team at Conroy Dental Centre since 2014 and feels that this office truly is her dental home. Dr. Caris, a constant learner, actively participates in ongoing continuing education, completing courses, seminars and training in all facets of dentistry- keeping her on the leading edge.  Dr. Caris aims to educate and empower her patients through active listening, communication and attention to detail; encouraging active discussion about their current oral health and what can be done to make it even better!

When not in the office, Dr. Caris can be found enjoying time with her husband and two young boys, watching movies, dancing, cooking up a storm (but not being very good at washing dishes), and spending time outdoors.

When he was accepted to Laval University for his dental studies, Dr. Frédéric Lê knew without a doubt in his mind that he wanted to return to Ottawa to practice. Despite being born in Montreal; he considers Ottawa as the city that nurtured him in to becoming the person that he is today.

He is methodical and attentive to details, a skill that he acquired when he was completing his Bachelor of Science in Biopharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Ottawa. This quality allows him to be thorough during dental treatments, and to develop his passion in photography and cooking.

Dr. Lê is a great communicator and will establish a relationship of trust between the patient and himself. He will take the time to listen to the patient’s need and explain the best possible treatment plan so that the patient can make the most informed decision. Since his graduation in 2013, Dr. Lê actively participates in continuing education courses in various fields of dentistry so that he can provide the highest level of care to his patients.

Outside of office hours, Dr. Lê practices many extreme sports such as “changing diapers one handed with a wiggling baby”, and mentally challenging games such as “negotiating bedtime hours and stories”.
