Our Process
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by our receptionist who will help you settle in, offer you a beverage and bring you to an office to fill out your medical questionnaire in private (alternatively you can fill out the form on our website at your convenience prior to your appointment). Afterwards, one of our administrative assistants will give you a brief tour of our office and address any concerns or questions you may have before your appointment. Once the tour is complete, one of our assistants will guide you to the exam room where you will meet either Dr. Camellato or Dr. Bhatt, our Ottawa dentists. They will review and discuss with you the information you provided earlier regarding your concerns, questions and medical history. A thorough examination of your teeth and supporting structures will then be completed with the aid of digital radiographs and photographs. A custom treatment plan will be created for you if there is any treatment that needs to be completed. Your dentist will discuss with you the steps required to achieve optimal oral health and attain your dental goals.
We prefer to schedule your dental cleaning on a separate day so we can book the appropriate amount of time needed for you specifically, however if it is more convenient for you to have this done on the same day as your first visit we are happy to accommodate by reserving an additional hour with one of our hygienists Vannessa, Sophie, or Jo-anne.
At the end of your appointment(s), our friendly administration staff will assist you in sending a claim to your insurance plan, prepare estimates for any recommended treatment, schedule your next visit and process your payment. For your convenience we accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American express and Interact as methods of payment.
